Here’s a detailed look at the terms and conditions that define your membership:
DS Dollars and Exclusive Savings:
Earn DS Dollars with each membership subscription, giving you additional value for your commitment. While DS Dollars cannot be redeemed for preventative maintenance, they open doors to exclusive savings and benefits within our program.
Timely Assistance with After-Hours Dispatch:
We understand that emergencies can happen outside regular business hours. As a member, you receive a $100 discount on after-hours dispatch, ensuring you get timely assistance when you need it most. Our regular service hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Flexible Cancellation Options:
Life can be unpredictable, and we recognize that circumstances may change. Our membership offers flexibility with cancellation options based on the duration of your contract—monthly, annual, or 36-month terms.
- Monthly Contract: The monthly contract may be canceled in writing at any time after 90 days of enrollment. Lapse in payment will result in immediate termination of the agreement and benefits.
- Annual Contract: The annual contract may be canceled in writing at any time after 12 months of membership. Lapse in payment will result in immediate termination of the agreement and benefits.
- 36-Month Contract: The 36-month contract may be canceled in writing at any time after 36 months of membership. Lapse in payment will result in immediate termination of the agreement and benefits.
Hassle-Free Agreement Process:
To streamline your experience, we’ve made the agreement process simple and convenient. Ensure to submit the signed agreement within 3 business days of claiming any membership-associated discount to continue enjoying the benefits hassle-free.
Transferable Membership for Added Convenience:
Should your home change hands, rest assured—our membership is transferable to the new homeowners, ensuring a seamless transition of benefits.
DS Dollars- Your Exclusive Rewards:
Accumulate DS Dollars and revel in additional savings and perks. You have 30 days from the date of membership cancellation to utilize any accumulated DS Dollars, which do not expire and rollover until used.

What are DS Dollars?
DS Dollars work like a gift card or credit on your DS Home Services account and are earned automatically with your membership. You’ll receive $10 per month, $120 per year, or $360 upfront if you purchase a 3-year plan.
They can be used toward almost any DS Home Services repair, upgrade, or installation. The only exception is that they cannot be applied to preventative maintenances.
Your DS Dollars never expire for the life of your membership and continue to roll over each year until used, giving you flexibility and extra savings whenever you need service.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes! We understand that circumstances change.
- Monthly memberships may be canceled in writing any time after 90 days.
- Annual memberships may be canceled in writing after 12 months.
- 36-month memberships may be canceled in writing after 36 months.
If a payment lapses, the membership and benefits will end immediately. Simply reach out to our team to process your cancellation or discuss options if your needs change.
What happens if I sell my home?
Your membership is fully transferable to the new homeowner. This adds value to your property and provides peace of mind for the next family. Just contact our office with the buyer’s information, and we’ll handle the transition for you.
Do I need to reach out to schedule my maintenance?
No, we’ll contact you.
Our team keeps track of your maintenance schedule and will reach out when it’s time to perform your annual service. You can always contact us sooner if you prefer to schedule at a specific time of year.
What if I have an emergency?
As a member, you receive $100 off any emergency after-hours service plus priority dispatch.

Are the inspections mandatory?
No, inspections are optional, but we strongly recommend them.
Your included HVAC, plumbing, and electrical safety checks are designed to catch small issues before they become costly repairs. They help extend the life of your equipment and ensure your home stays safe and efficient year-round.
What happens after I sign up?
Once you complete your signup form, an invoice will be emailed to you.
After payment is received, your membership becomes active and our team will reach out to schedule your included maintenance and inspections. You’ll also begin receiving your exclusive DS member discounts right away.
Does this work if I have a liquid-cooled generator?
Absolutely! The Total Home Care Club covers both air-cooled and liquid-cooled units.Because liquid-cooled generators require a bit more time and materials to maintain, there’s an add-on service fee that will simply be included on the invoice you receive.
Who can join the program?
The DS Total Home Care Club is open to homeowners in our service area, which includes Dutchess, Ulster, Columbia, Greene, Orange, Albany, and Rensselaer counties. Whether you’re an existing DS customer or brand new to our family, you’re welcome to join.
How often will maintenance be performed?
Each membership includes one annual maintenance visit for your choice of system: generator, HVAC, or furnace. Additional maintenances or system types can be added at a discounted member rate, allowing you to customize your plan to fit your home’s needs.
Is there exclusivity if I join?
Not at all. While our skilled team can service all your home’s systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and generators, you’re never required to use us exclusively. The membership simply provides extra savings, priority scheduling, and peace of mind whenever you do.
