Boces Field Trip to DS Home Services

We had some awesome visitors today. Students from Dutchess BOCES stopped by DS Home Services to get a real look at the trades in action and learn what a future in this industry can look like.

Ron, our electrical project manager, and Declan, our generator and excavation project manager, took them behind the scenes and shared what life is really like as a tradesperson. From problem solving on the fly to building systems that keep families safe and comfortable, there is a lot more to this work than meets the eye.

We love opening our doors to the next generation of talent and showing them that there are incredible opportunities in the trades. Thanks to Dutchess BOCES for spending the afternoon with us. We cannot wait to see what these students accomplish.
