Morse Elementary School

For September, our Community Appreciation Lunch took us to Morse Elementary School in the City of Poughkeepsie. We were inspired by Cheryl, a beloved teacher of over 25 years and our Scavenger Hunt winner, who chose to donate her prize to lift up her fellow teachers and bring a little extra encouragement to her building.

That simple, selfless act reminded us how much teachers give of themselves every single day, not just to their students, but to each other. We wanted to show our gratitude too, so today we provided lunch for the staff on their planning day and donated an extra Yeti to add to their giveaways.

The teachers at Morse welcomed us with such warmth and thankfulness. Their dedication to the children who are our future is nothing short of inspiring. To the entire Morse Elementary team: thank you. Thank you for your kindness, your resilience, and the immeasurable impact you make in your students’ lives. We hope you have a wonderful school year!
