Toys for Tots 2025- A Community That Shows Up
At DS Home Services, giving back is part of who we are and our annual Toys for Tots drive is one of the most meaningful ways we get to serve our community.
Each year we look forward to this moment but 2025 truly exceeded anything we imagined. Our lobby filled up day after day with generosity and by the end of the drive we had well over a dozen large Toys for Tots boxes overflowing with gifts for children right here in Dutchess County. Seeing our community show up in such a big way is always humbling. It is a reminder that kindness is alive and well and that when people come together incredible things happen. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make this possible:
- Our loyal customers
- Friends and neighbors from across the community
- Our amazing vendors (including N & S Supply, who stopped by right before the final pickup to fill our last box with toys)
- All of the anonymous angels who purchased gifts from our wishlist
- And a very special thank you to TJ with Toys for Tots who works tirelessly each year providing boxes coordinating pickups and supporting events so we can reach even more local children
We are also incredibly proud and honored to share that DS Home Services received the Toys for Tots Commander’s Award for the second year in a row in 2025, This recognition belongs entirely to our community and reflects the generosity and compassion of everyone who participated. From our Sam’s Club toy drive in Wappingers Falls to our Black Friday toy drive at the Poughkeepsie Galleria this effort was fueled by people who simply wanted to help make the holidays brighter for local families.
We are grateful to be part of a community that shows up for one another year after year. Thank you for trusting DS Home Services to be a small part of something so meaningful. We cannot wait to do it all over again next year
